Stakeholder Dialogue brings together citizens from Choice-Dialogues with elected and civic leaders in daylong sessions focusing on finding common ground and new ways forward on difficult issues.
These sessions build on the common ground defined in prior Choice-Dialogues and identify action steps to move the vision forward. They provide an unusual opportunity for leaders to engage with ordinary citizens who have already worked hard to reconcile the complex and emotional tradeoffs involved in major reform efforts.
Stakeholder Dialogue provides a powerful way for leaders to grasp and test at a deeper level what the public would be prepared to support and under what conditions. It enables leaders to experiment with and practice new ways of communicating, as well as to test leadership initiatives and new frameworks.
